What is a plug and play hot tub?
A plug & play hot tub is designed around compatible 115- or 120-volt household power, which can simplify electrical planning. Plug & play describes the electrical format of a model; it does not replace planning for a level foundation, safe access, drainage and clearances.
Do I still need an electrician for a plug and play hot tub?
Sometimes. Confirm the exact voltage and amperage for the model, check GFCI protection and any dedicated-circuit requirement, and make sure the outlet location and cord reach work. Use a qualified electrician whenever your site or local code requires one. We confirm the manufacturer specifications for the tub you choose before delivery.
Which brands offer plug and play models?
We currently offer plug & play models from Caldera (Fantasy and Vacanza), Be Well (Uniq U903, U906 and U907), Maple Spas (M321 and M421), Platinum Spas (Reims and St Tropez) and Chill Tubs cold plunges.
How many people do plug and play hot tubs seat?
Our plug & play range runs from 1 to 7 seats, from compact two-seaters such as the Caldera Aspire and Aventine to seven-seat models such as the Be Well U907, Maple M421 and Platinum St Tropez.
Is there a plug-in cold plunge?
Yes. The Chill Tubs Pro is a single-person cold plunge and contrast-therapy tub that runs on a 110V, 15-amp supply, with a water temperature range of 37°F to 104°F, Wi-Fi touchscreen controls and LED lighting.
