A six-seat Caldera spa that weighs 1,000 lb before any water goes in, taken through a screen and set on a screened patio.
Our founder Florian logged this one as a “Geneva from Caldera, spa delivery through a screen in Delray Beach”. The Geneva is one of the bigger spas we deliver, so this page is as much about weight as about the route.
The Geneva is 89 by 89 inches and 38 inches tall, and it is listed at 1,000 lb dry. A spa like that is not moved by one person. The arrival photo shows it on the spa trailer, upright on its side, with the team for the day.
The spa was going onto a screened patio, so the way in was through the screen. In the next photo it is inside, upright on the patio floor, with the crew still around it.
Once the spa was in position the steps went on at the front and the cover onto its lifter at the side, where it folds down out of the way. Beyond the screen the view is open green.
Filled, the Geneva is listed at 5,470 lb, with 410 US gallons of water. That is the number that decides where a spa can sit. The base has to be flat, level and solid, and we go over it with you before delivery is scheduled. The Geneva is also listed at 230V / 50A, so it needs a dedicated electrical service.
