Where a hot tub sits is decided long before it arrives, and so is which way it faces. This Maple M720 in Westlake is a small delivery that shows both: a paver pad beside the house, and a spa turned so you look out at the yard, not at the wall.
The M720 arrived wrapped on our spa trailer, behind the truck, and was unloaded at the driveway. The route from there ran down the side of the house to the paver pad where the spa was going.
Down the side of the house the spa travelled on its side on a dolly. At the pad it was eased over onto an air cushion, which takes the weight while the tub comes down flat. The low dollies on the pavers help with the last move into position.
Before any delivery we confirm the model, its dimensions, its orientation and where it will sit. Here the cover lifter is at the back, so the cover folds up against the house wall. The open side of the tub faces the lawn. In the last photos the spa is full and the jets are running.
